Basemap: Status Bar

The Status Bar active dialog displays the Line/Trace, UTM X/UTM Y and ribbon value associated with the cursor's position on the Basemap. To turn the Status Bar active dialog on or off, from the View menu on the Basemap, select Active Dialogs, then Status Bar. You can't move or resize this active dialog.

Status Bar Fields

The status bar fields are updated as you move your cursor around the map. The fields are described from left to right.

Tool Tips: These are helpful hints related to your cursor's position on the Basemap.

Ribbon: Displays the current ribbon value at the cursor location.

Line Name:Displays the line name of the seismic file at the cursor location.

Trace/CDP:For 3D seismic files, this will display the trace number at the cursor location. For 2D seismic files, this will display the CDP value at the cursor location.

Line/Shot:For 3D seismic files, this will display the line number at the cursor location. For 2D seismic files, this will display the shot value at the cursor location.

Position: Displays the current UTM X and UTM Y values at the cursor location.
